This is our combined list of all the upcoming and current litters from ISSA Breeders. Demand is strong, so please do check with the breeder regarding availability on a given litter! Often, litters are sold before they are even born, so it’s a good idea to get on a waiting list with the breeder you choose as soon as you can.

Before you put in an application, we encourage you to spend some time talking with our breeders to find one that you are comfortable with and that is producing the type and temperament of Shiloh Shepherd puppy you want.

FALL 2025

Mainzer Shilohs Presents: Layla/Logan

Located in Oklahoma, United States

Layla is the reason that we chose to repeat this pairing this year as we are hoping for a carbon copy of this beautiful girl! She brings to the table exceptional hips, incredibly correct structure and some of our old lines that we would love to preserve and move forward.

Logan needs very little introduction as he is a show stopper with his flowing auburn coat and commanding presence. Logan has yet to meet a person or dog that he does not already consider a friend. His wide body, great bone structure and beautiful wide head should produce some traffic stoppers! 

This litter will be raised in Oklahoma at Mainzer Shilohs and breeding expected fall 2025.  We are expecting all plush pups in various shades of dual and sable.

Winter 2025

Pacific Wild Kennels Presents: Tarot/Flynt

Located in Victoria, BC

Tarot is a big, solid girl from Guardian Kennel’s Eleiko/Django 2020 litter. She is a social, outgoing dog with a wonderfully weird, quirky personality. She’s a medium drive dog and actively competes in scent detection and disc based sports, boasting titles and placements in both, as well as multiple conformation championships. Structurally, she has nice body proportions with being slightly longer than tall, heavy bone, broad muzzle and head, good ear set, and nicely assembled front and rear (though she could use more length in the foreleg.) She has successfully raised 9 puppies across two litters and has routinely produced nicely structured, playful, and confident puppies, and we will continue to collect health data on these puppies as they reach the appropriate ages.

Flynt is an F1 Tervuren from Wilderness Kennels’ Mixal/Fortune 2022 litter, bred as part of the ISSA’s genetic diversity and outcrossing project. Flynt exhibits traits more in line with his Tervuren ancestry than Shiloh ancestry – he is an aloof dog, preferring his family (human and dog) over being social. Flynt also exhibits more Tervuren style drives and intensity, which means he is performing well in multiple sports including racing (AOK9) and disc, but also has a stronger prey drive. In addition to being titled in sports, Flynt has also earned his breed Championship with the ISSA and has competed against and placed above purebred Shilohs in both ISSA and non-ISSA events. Structurally, the Terv brought a lot of much needed physical traits to the table with small, high set ears, good angulation front and back, and nice slightly longer than tall body proportions. Flynt’s dam (also from Guardian lines) added height, width, and density of structure and Flynt has this in spades.

Overall, we’re expecting strong, athletic puppies with more drive than your average Shiloh Shepherd. These puppies should be structurally correct with ample size, as both Flynt and Tarot have sizeable dogs behind them. Additionally, both dogs have good angulation, correct toplines and croups, as well as heads and ear size/placements. Temperament wise, the hope is that Tarot will stamp these puppies with her social butterfly personality and bring them more towards the ideal temperament of the Shiloh. However, with these pups being only 2 generations removed from a purebred Tervuren there is a probability that we may see persisting Terv-like traits such as aloofness and higher energy/drive/intensity, as well as higher prey drives.   

All plush coats are expected and likely medium to dark shades of brown due to the dominance of Flynt’s genetics. Shaded sable (ay) and wolf sable (aw) will be the prevailing patterns with dual (at) and recessive black (a) as recessive traits. Tarot’s recessive white may be passed on to some puppies, however, no white puppies will be possible. 

These puppies will do well in active households that are interested in advanced and continuing training and/or sports. This litter will be evaluated by an ISSA certified evaluator using our standard LER testing, as well as being evaluated by one or more Belgian Shepherd experts between 7.5 and 8 weeks of age. There is a moderate probability to see retained Tervuren temperament traits, which would make those puppies unsuitable for service dog prospects.   

This litter is a crucial part of the ISSA’s genetic diversity project, so priority will be given to breeding homes. These puppies will all be 25% Tervuren by pedigree, however, DNA inheritance isn’t as evenly distributed by pedigree, Embarked puppies will likely have less or more Tervuren DNA markers. These puppies will not be listed as purebred Shiloh Shepherds but they will be fully registered with the ISSA just the same as any purebred Shiloh Shepherd. As of today’s date, they will be able to compete in Shiloh Shepherd Breed Specialties as well as IABCA All Breed shows, and are eligible to earn championships through the ISSA.

SPRING 2026

Guardian Kennels & Sea Child Shilohs Presents: Freya/Finn

Located in British Columbia, Canada

Freya is a stunning white plush coated girl out of Guardian’s 2022 Matsu/Trooper pairing. With impressive conformation, she is a big solid girl at 28 inches and 97 pounds. Freya is a ray of sunshine – full of love and always with a smile in her eyes.
She loves splashing through forest puddles and ocean waves, while never straying too far down the path without you. Her excellent temperament shines in her work as a therapy dog (in training), supporting people of all ages, especially youth. Freya adores people, greeting visitors with a song and guiding them to the couch for cuddles. Self assured with a low prey drive, her friends include ducks, cats, and alpacas.

Finnegan is also from one of our “Tribute to Shahayla” litters (Skeena-Atticus) of 2022.  Finn has grown into an amazing adult with outstanding structure and presence.   His small, triangular correct ears and wide head along with his excellent proportions and outstanding confident temperament make him an ideal match for Freya.

Everyone that meets Finn describe him as a gentle giant and are amazed at what a sweet and loving dog he is as he quickly charms everyone. Finn has incredible eye contact and has that humanist quality where you feel like he is about to respond back to you at any moment. He is very in tune to feelings and emotions. He is very smart and learns things quickly. If there is a “possible threat” outside he barks a couple of times and then alerts his owners. He has an incredible nose like his dad! He is an excellent hiking buddy and truly is a great companion.  

We are looking forward to seeing all of these solid traits match up in the pups from this pairing.  We are expecting plush coat puppies in various shades of dual and sable with stable, happy temperaments and show stopping conformation.  Breeding expected mid January 2026.  This litter will be whelped and raised in Cobble Hill, BC (CANADA)  by our trusted co-owners at Seachild Shilohs. All pups will be placed and guaranteed through Guardian Kennels.

Guardian Kennels Presents: Freyja/Bo

Located in Colorado, United States

Freyja is our beautiful co-owned girl out of the Piper-Django “Tribute to Shahayla” litter of 2022.  Freyja is an athletic, very affectionate girl who loves to ambush you with surprise kisses.  She’s the type of dog who loves to explore the outdoors with you while hiking.  She loves to chase every type of toy but the typical Kong/tennis balls are her favorite.  She is always up for some tug of war or visiting and wresting with her friends.  She prefers the company of people to new dogs, and likes her select group of dog friends.  Despite being the smallest in her pack of three she is definitely the boss.

Bo is the handsome dark brown sable from Super Nova Shilohs’ Zam-Tuuka litter. His incredibly strong head and muzzle makes him a striking presence.  Bo is an amazing companion with a big personality. He loves car rides, walks, and starting each morning with a full “yard inspection” to make sure everything is in order—or to sniff out who stopped by overnight. Fetch is one of his favorite games, and his super expressive face is almost always showing off a big smile. Bo adores other dogs too and is always ready to make a new friend and play if he gets the chance.

Both of these dogs bring to the table some more rare and unique sources of genetic diversity so this pairing is extremely important for our breed.

We are expecting all plush pups in dark shades of sable from this pairing. This litter will be whelped and raised with our trusted co-owners in Colorado (Denver area) under the mentorship and guidance of Guardian Kennels.  All pups will be placed and guaranteed through Guardian Kennels.

Guardian Kennels Presents: Rieka/Valla

Located in Alberta, Canada

Rieka is our “blast from the past” girl from our Matsu-Chester 2023 litter.  Her sire, “Chester” was out of our very first litter here at Guardian Kennels and represents old lines and some of the original (Artus) outcross blood that was used to build the Shiloh Shepherd breed.
Rieka has far exceeded our expectations and has grown into a big girl with a beautiful head and small correct ears with a wide solid body to go with it.  Her temperament is exceptional as there seems to be nothing that phases her and she approaches everything with a joyous zest!  She has yet to meet a person or animal that she doesn’t consider a friend.  She currently trains in agility and in scent work, both of which she seems to really enjoy and excel at.

Valla is our solid black boy out of one of our Tribute to Shahayla litters (Piper-Django) of 2022.  Sired by our late “Django”, Valla is the spitting image of his father  in looks, size and personality!  He has grown into a stunning boy with a soulful connection to his owner.  Valla brings to the table a beautiful blocky head, flowing movement and exceptional size.

We are expecting all plush coated duals and sables from this pairing as well as the possibility of whites (no solid blacks!).  Expected temperaments will range from more laid back to a few with a little bit more “get up and go”.
Pregnancy will be confirmed the first week in February.

Michia was born on St. Patrick’s Day, 2022, and proved her luck early on when her owner found a four leaf clover on the way home from picking her up. Michia is a stunning bicolor plush-coated Shiloh Shepherd with a striking black and tan bi-coloration. Michia possesses an impressive conformation that exemplifies the breed standards.
Beyond her remarkable physical attributes, Michia’s endearing personality truly sets her apart. Renowned for being the sweetest dog one could ever meet. Michia has a heart of gold and gentle nature that instantly captivates all who cross her path. While she may occasionally display a touch of stubbornness, Michia’s intelligence shines through in discerning ways, making her a delight to train. Echo Shilohs Presents: Yahtzee/Thor

Located in Indiana, United States

Yahtzee is a Solid Black smooth coat who has a zest for life and loves to make that known with her family. She enthusiastically greets her people and loves to do trustfalls, knowing you will catch her. She has done well in the show ring and obtained her championship, but she would rather hike with her family and chase the dog who is chasing the ball! She has turned out to be a fantastic girl, who exemplifies the Shiloh breed.

Thor is a Black and Silver bi-color plush coat who comes from Silvermoon Shilohs and is out of two stunning Shilohs and he follows in their footsteps. He is a confident family dog who loves to talk to anyone who will listen. I expect solid black and bi-colors in smooth and plush coats. They will love to do more with their families and enjoy sports or scent work.
