No single person, or even small group of people, can take on the entire challenge of breed stewardship. To make sure that the ISSA Shiloh Shepherd goes forward as the healthy, stable, beautiful breed we love, we need your support! Here are some ways that you can make a difference.
Join Our Club and Community
The ISSA is a Federal 501(c)3 Non-profit organization. Our Board members and Wardens all work on the Club for free, as volunteers, so all income goes back into Club programs like producing educational materials, building our registry infrastructure, hosting our National Shiloh event, and paying for business operating expenses like event insurance. For operating funds, we depend very much on the generosity of our Club members and other people who support our programs and mission!

Current pricing can be found on the Fee Schedule page, where you can get multiple years at a discount! Joining us will get you added to our Facebook group where you will receive updates on our progress with things like Outcrossing, and the opportunity to ask questions and have your voice heard before the Board votes. We absolutely believe that our members deserve clear communication from our organization for us to be worthy of your support.
In addition, our new Breeder Training Program will soon be online! As a member, you gain free access to enroll in the first part of this program, which teaches breed history and a bit about genetics and structure, as well as giving you an inside view on what kind of work, study, and prioritization goes into an ISSA breeding. All future ISSA Breeders-in-Training are required to take both parts of this course, so you will be able to see what we’re teaching our people!

If you like what we are doing but aren’t currently interested in joining the club, you can make a simple donation. Since we are a 501(c)3, your donation is tax-deductible! Simply contact our ISSA Treasurer for a receipt.

Provide an Outcross Pup With a Home!
We love our Shilohs, and our ultimate goal is to keep the look and temperament of the breed exactly the way it is. However, there’s mounting evidence that our breed won’t stay healthy for long unless we learn to breed in a new way. Complete Health Testing on your Pet ISSA Shiloh
Even if your are not breeding , littermate data is just as important to our breed to ensure that the dogs we are producing are genetically and physically healthy. Complete health testing requirements can be found on the Health & Testing page.
